Juvéderm

What is Juvéderm®?
Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic facial filler that adds volume to the skin to soften wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in your skin and works to attract water and add volume to areas that have sunken or hollowed over time. As you get older, you have less hyaluronic acid in your skin. This lack of volume is why wrinkles form.

How Much Does Juvéderm® Cost?
The average cost of our Juvéderm® fillers is $350 to $850 per syringe. If you only need half of a syringe, the average cost is $350. After we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan during the consultation, we can provide more details about the cost.

What is Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC?
Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC is recommended for moderate to severe wrinkles in the face. This is the most widely used product in the Juvéderm® family The results may last up to one year.

What is Juvéderm® Voluma®?
Juvéderm® Voluma® is a hyaluronic cheek filler. This filler is recommended to add volume to hollows in the cheeks or to add definition to the apples of your cheeks. The results may last up to two years.

How is Juvéderm® Performed?
Juvéderm® products are gel formulations that are injected into the layers of skin where your wrinkles develop. The deeper the wrinkle, the deeper the injections.

What is Recovery Like After Juvéderm®?
Juvéderm® fillers require no downtime or recovery. While you may experience tenderness, redness or swelling at your injection sites after your treatment, this generally resolves on its own in a few days. All of our patients go back to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately after treatment.

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling uses tiny needles on a handheld device that makes controlled micro-channels (tiny holes) in the skin where aging has begun to reveal itself. This causes the skin to react by stimulating collagen and elastin to send to the area to heal it. Once this happens, the collagen adds volume to the skin, and the elastin helps return the skin to its original state.

Benefits

  • No scarring
  • No risk of adverse reaction
  • Safe for all skin types
  • Little to no downtime or recovery
  • Little to no discomfort or pain
  • Effective on many skin imperfections

Am I a Candidate for Microneedling?

Microneedling is safe for most skin types, tones and textures. If you are a man or woman looking for a treatment for your persistent acne and acne scarring, microneedling may be right for you. Microneedling stretch marks is a great treatment for women after childbirth. The treatment reduces the scar tissue to make the stretch marks less visible.

How is Microneedling Performed?

Microneedling is performed with the MDPen® device that is equipped with a series of small hair-like needles. One of our registered nurses or Nurse Practitioner will press the device into the skin and penetrate the skin with the needles. The needles only go into the outer layer of skin, so you do not experience a lot of bleeding or discomfort after the treatment.

What is Recovery Like After Microneedling?

Microneedling requires no downtime. While you may experience some redness, tenderness and swelling to the skin, most of our patients return to their normal daily activities without restriction following their microneedling treatment.

How Long Will Microneedling Results Last?

The results of your microneedling treatment will depend on how your skin naturally ages. While the length of the results from your microneedling treatment will vary, they typically last years with a few treatments.
