Vampire Procedures (PRP)
A Vampire procedure begins with drawing a small amount of blood from the patient’s arm, as one would do when giving a blood sample. One to three tubes of blood may be collected, depending on the treatment being performed. The blood is then spun in a high speed centrifuge in order to separate the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Our platelets have 8 growth factors that are responsible for healing damaged tissue, when an injury or wound may be endured. When we separate and collect the PRP in a centrifuge, we compound those growth factors by 10 fold. The PRP is then activated into a Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix and injected back into the site of choice. Now the PRP will stimulate our own stem cells to grow new collagen and microvascular blood vessels, which will enhance shape, texture, tone and sensation.

How is O-Shot® Performed?
O-Shot® is performed with a small amount of platelet-rich plasma that is derived from your blood. We start by taking blood from one of your veins. The blood is then processed to separate the plasma which is then loaded into a syringe. The PRP is injected at specific points in the vaginal area based upon the symptoms that we are alleviating for you.
What is Recovery Like After O-Shot®?
O-Shot® does not require any downtime. Most of our patients are able to return to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately following their treatment. The PRP starts to work over the following weeks by stimulating new cell development, which thickens the tissues.
How Long Will O-Shot® Results Last?
You may not see the results of your O-Shot® right away. Seeing your full results can take up to three months and last up to one year.

THE PROCEDURE:
Blood is drawn from the patient and added to a centrifuge to isolate the platelets, creating PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).
The platelets are injected (gently and painlessly) to create a beautiful shape and texture to the labia (“wings”). The labia tissue goes from flat, sagging and wrinkly to plump, full and smooth. The procedure is complete in about 15 minutes in our office!
PRP contains growth factors, and is an effective regenerative therapy used in all the Vampire procedures. When these multi-potent growth factors are injected into the labia (“wings”), they become activated and grow new tissue including new collagen, new fatty tissue (for fullness and smoothness) and new blood vessels (for healthy blood flow).
